Liduvina “Luz” Julian (79) of Jersey City passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 surrounded by her family. Liduvina was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico and she eventually met her husband, Israel in Humacao. They relocated to Brooklyn, NY and finally settled in Jersey City, NJ in 1973. She was a devoted Mets fan, loved playing Parchessi, fishing, gardening, Bingo, music, watching her novellas, going to the casinos, and loved a good cup of Aguila coffee.
Liduvina is predeceased by her spouse, Israel. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Garcia, Mary Luz Rosario, Damaris Medina; sons, Eliud Medina and Edwin Medina. Liduvina was also the beloved mother of her late children Eduardo Medina, Juan Velez & Suehay Santana, who she raised as her own. Mother-in-law to Felix Garcia, Amanda Medina, and Bobby Rosario. Liduvina was mostly known as “MAMA” to her grandchildren: Patricia, Melissa, Anthony, Edwin Jr., Angilina, Jacob, Alia-Paige, Ariel, Abriel; and great-Grandchildren, Nacier, Yasmine, Alyssa, Mia Luz, Ziara and Haylie.
