Mr. Lewis Roy Wood, 71, of Huguley, AL took his Heavenly flight on June 3, 2014.
Survivors include his children, Jenny Lynn (Jon) Martin of West Point, GA & Rev. Samuel (Larisa) Wood of Lanett; brothers, Johnny (Rita) Wood of Woodland, AL & Harold (Cynthia) Wood of LaGrange, GA; sister, Faye (Holland) Paschal of Valley and his cat, Rocky. He was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Wood, his mother Florrie Wood, his father, Billy Wood, his grandmother, Bessie Mae Wood and his grandfather, Willis Wood.
Mr. Wood was a veteran, serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a humorous and witty individual, truly one of a kind. He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. He was known for wearing his trademark bandana. He was a member of Roper Heights Baptist Church.
