Lewis Joseph Coppola, 68, of Plainville, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain.
Lewis was born on July 16, 1943, one of three sons to the late Andrew and Mary
Coppola. A lifelong resident he was a graduate of Plainville High School and went on to attend Goodwin Technical School in New Britain. He had a knack for working with leather and was a model train enthusiast with an extensive collection. Lewis was a good natured and sociable man who enjoyed meeting people and sharing a good joke. He had a vast love for music, especially classic rock and made playing the marimba one of his longtime hobbies. His kindness and sense of humor will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Lewis is survived by his brother, Gary Coppola and his wife, Paule of Melbourne Beach, FL., Quebec, and Hartford. He was predeceased by his brother, Andrew Coppola, Jr.
