Mr. Lewis D. Yarbrough, age 82, of Valley, AL passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the EAMC Lanier Nursing Home in Valley. He was born on December 4, 1934 in Langdale, AL.
Mr. Yarbrough is survived by his wife of 61 years, Hazel Yarbrough; his two sons, Ronnie (Kim) Yarbrough and Randy (Karen) Yarbrough; his grandson, Ryan (Alison) Yarbrough; his two great grandchildren, Mason Yarbrough and Ada Yarbrough; his three brothers, Gene Yarbrough, Wayne Yarbrough, and Doyle Yarbrough; his two sisters, Janette Tynes and Louise Reding.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Pauline Beller.
Mr. Yarbrough was a disabled U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served in the Korean War. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid Alabama fan and enjoyed meeting people. He loved his family and was devout in his faith.
