December 6, 1951-September 8, 2022 

Lewis C. McComb Jr., 70, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022, in Albuquerque, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis C. McComb Sr. and Arlene (Miller) McComb; brother, Jackie of Edgewood. He is survived by his wife, Dora; daughters, Ida McComb (Denver, Co.), Beverly Chavez (Albuquerque), and Donna Little (Fitchburg, Ma.); sons, Fermin C. Gonzales III (Albuquerque) and Matthew McComb (Kristin) (Middleton, Ma.); sister, Sally Rogers; and four grandchildren; Jenna Little, Justin Little, Giuliana McComb, and Benjamin McComb. 

Lewis graduated from Moriarty High in 1969 and attended TV-I afterwards. He served in the Navy from 1971-1977 and completed the Navy Nuclear Program while assigned to the U.S.S. Pargo. He worked for PNM as a Systems Operator and retired in 1998. He then went on to work for the City of Farmington Electric Company and retired in 2008. Lastly, Lewis worked for the City of Colorado Springs Utilities and retired in 2013. 

Lewis belonged to the American Power Dispatchers Association. He also completed the Master Gardner of the Bernalillo County Horticulture program. He enjoyed traveling with his family, collecting antiques, hiking, and fishing.
