Levi R. McAmis, 63, of Centralia, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020, in his home surrounded by his family. Levi was born October 15, 1956, in Superior, AZ, the son of Roy McAmis and Freda McAmis.
He married Kathy (Gaston) McAmis on March 31, 1985, and she survives him in Centralia.
In addition to his wife Kathy McAmis of 35 years, he is survived by five sons: Steve McAmis and wife Jena of Clever, MO, Brian McAmis and wife Chandra of Plainfield, IL, Bradley Eckhoff and wife Kelly of Irvington, IL; Timothy Eckhoff of Centralia, IL, and William Eckhoff of Centralia, IL; two daughters: Danielle Ward and significant other Chris of Centralia, IL and Brandy Clymer and husband Michael of Branson, MO; one brother: Paul McAmis of West Plains, MO; one sister: Linda Harsh of West Plains; MO; seventeen grandchildren: Chelsea, Kelsey, Connor, Sophia, Austin, Ethan, Kylie, Skylar, Jewel, Chip, Addy, Leah, Connor, Maddison, Rileigh, Kieran, and Clayton; seven step-grandchildren: William, Alyssa, Katelynn, Abby, Conner, Cayden, and Macie; three great-grandchildren: Noah, Tristan, and Rhylin; and three great-grandchildren on the way; mother-in-law: Wanda Gaston; a brother-in-law: Allen Gaston and wife Jackie; a sister-in-law: Crystal Price and husband Harvey; several nieces and nephews.
Levi was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Freda McAmis, one brother: Lyle McAmis, and his father-in-law: Lloyd Gaston. Levi worked for Tech Industries before he retired. He loved to go camping and ride his off-road vehicles. He especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
