LeVern was born November 15, 1949 in Great Falls to Lloyd and Theresa LeDeaux Brave. He was a Flight Engineer on a C-130 aircraft during the Vietnam War. After his two tours in Vietnam with the Marine Corp, he became an aeronautical engineer. When he finished his military career, he became an electrical engineer.
Vern loved to ride motorcycles. He took pride in staying healthy, and enjoyed running to keep fit.
Survivors include his sister, Shirley Larrie, Rapid City, SD; brothers, Wendall J. Brave and Darrell G. Brave, Great Falls, Lester Larrie, Rapid City, SD.
Those who have preceded LeVern in death include his parents; brother, Dale Brave.
