Levada M. Watkins, 91, of Grafton, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Grafton City Hospital, with her daughters by her side. She was born in Taylor County, January 27, 1924, a daughter of the late Charles R. Friend and Orpha Nose Friend. Her husband, Walter Lee Watkins, preceded her death in October 25, 1969.
She was a member of the Grafton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses
Her greatest joy was talking to family, friends, and neighbors about God’s Kingdom and the blessings that it will bring to all mankind.
She worked at, GB Bakery , Westinghouse, and Shirt Factory in Grafton. as well as cared for the eldery in their homes.
She is survived by her two daughters; Hattie Watkins and Beverly Watkins both of Grafton.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one sister; Wilma E. Watson and one brother Robert Joseph Friend.
