Letha Boehner, 89, Nampa, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at a Nampa care center.

Letha enjoyed the mountains and would often go out riding in the mountains. One of her favorite places in the world was the middle fork of the Weiser River and Lost Lake where she would camp and just sit around the campfire. She really loved to fish but she also loved to watch as someone else caught fish. She also loved picking huckleberries and blackberries.

She truly enjoyed being involved with her grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s events and the many activities they were involved with. Another of her favorite things to do was to listen to her son Tommy Play the Piano or accordion.

Later in Letha’s life, she enjoyed going to Reno or Jackpot Nevada to play a good game or two of Keno, which was her favorite game. She and her husband even won a Ford Mustang on one of their trips to Reno.

She really enjoyed when garden came on and eating the produce.Letha liked to watch people; she would sometimes stay in the car at Wal Mart just to watch people go in and out. Her favorite place to eat was Chuck-O-Rama in Boise.

Letha was a woman who was there for anyone in loved her family very was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and a host of friends.Letha is survived by her son Tom Corning of Libby, MT; a daughter Patty (Dave) Pennington of Nampa, 2 grandchildren Brian(Stephanie) Pennington; Jaret (Jennifer) Pennington all of Nampa; six great grandchildren, Kayla, Jaycee Joshua Jeremiah, and twins Jaxon and Joey; a sister Pauline Cupp, and numerous nieces and nephews, She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Novella Wolff and 1 grandson Casey Pennington; four brothers Walter Ford Carl Ford Bud Ford and Ray Ford.

The family would like to thank Dr. Elaine Davidson, Dr. Ellen Hunter, and the staff & nurses at Sunny Ridge Care Center for their wonderful and compassionate care of Mom.
