Lester “Billy” William McArthur, Sr., 96, of Middletown, husband of Lula (Davis) McArthur for seventy years, made his Heavenly Journey home, Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Water’s Edge Center for Rehabilitation in Middletown. Lester was born in Fayetteville, NC on January 19, 1919 to the late James McArthur and Magnolia Campbell. He later settled in Middletown, CT where he lived most of his life. Lester was a graduate of Middletown High School Class of 1937 and Hillyer College. He also worked for various employers and finally retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as a trainer and Instructor for Human Resources. Prior to his illness he was an active member of Cross Street A.M.
