Winsted: Lester “Les” Lintner, 100, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Wolcott Hall Convalescent Home in Torrington. He was the husband of the late Jean (Baldauf) Lintner who died in 2004. Born in Torrington, October 28, 1909, son of the late Peter and Rose (Eichner) Lintner, he had lived in Winsted since 1947. Prior to his retirement, he had worked at the Torrington Co. for 20 years. He was a graduate of Torrington High School and Worcester Poly Technical Institute. He is survived by his brother Frank Lintner of Torrington.
