Lester Aaron (Pete) Fields, 78 years old of Anderson, Indiana passed away, Tuesday, December 28, 2020.

Pete was born in Pemberville, Ohio to Wesley and Ruth Fields on September 6, 1942. He married Jeannie (Ake) on June 4, 1983, in Anderson, Indiana. They established a home where everyone felt welcome. Pete was a purchasing manager for over 30 years before retiring. He was better known for hosting an annual golf outing, The Sneaky Pete Open.

Pete is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jeannie of Anderson, Indiana; his sister, Corinne (Dale) Hacker of South Carolina; his brother, Michael (Dianne) of Florida; his daughter, Leslie (Mike) Miller of Pemberville, Ohio; daughter, Christina (Lenny Fesler) Boldman; grandson, D. Taylor Mcconkey (Michaela); granddaughter, Amanda (Matt Snyder) McConkey; extended family; mother-in-law, Bonnie; brother-in-law, Darrell (Pam) Ake; brother-in-law, Steve (Vickie) Ake; friends, Jeff Lacy and Norm Whiles; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. Pete never knew a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Fields and Ruth & Ralph Magrum; brother, Leonard; sister, Jacqueline; brother, James; father-in-law, Gary Ake; brother-in-law, Rex Ake; and his daughter, Melissa and her husband, Greg Osborne, in 1992.
