MUNCIE-Lesta Pauline Etchison, 74, ended her courageous fight with cancer and entered her heavenly rest and eternal life in heaven on September 22, 2012 at I.U.
Lesta’s primary job was as a homemaker and raising her three kids. Other Muncie work
experience included working at the Bowl-O-Mat, working for Walter Tanner, Attorney at Law, serving at Etch’s Club and working at The Hut at Spring Lake Golf Course, Sebring, Fl.
Lesta was preceded in death by her father Leslie Kuhns, her step-father, John Lake, her husband of 47 years, Earl, and a sister-in-law, Marilyn.
Surviving are her mother Mildred Kuhns Lake, Muncie, her children Bret, Indianapolis; Lori, Muncie; and Scott (wife-Naomi) , Aurora, IL; six grandchildren (Erica, Aaron, Ruth, Kelly, Mary, Noah) and two great-grandsons(Cole, Landin). Also surviving are her sister Ellen (& Bob) Graves, Muncie, and two brothers, Don (& Sandy), Goetzville, MI., and Gail, Cowan, her sister-in-law Susan Bennett, York, SC, and two aunts, Edna Showalter and Charlotte Kuhns of Muncie. She also leaves behind several cousins, nephews, nieces and many loving friends in the Muncie area and in Sebring, FL.
