Leslie Robin (Stang) Shipley, 60, of Clarksburg, passed away peacefully in her home Monday, August 5, 2019. She was born in Washington, D.C. on May 12, 1959. She was the daughter of the late James Allen Stang and Phyllis Elaine Hershey.
Robin was created to be a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She poured love, wisdom and encouragement to everyone who crossed paths with her. Her passion was people; she was an inspiration to many and was loved by so many more. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Shipley; five children, Elizabeth Anne Donley and her husband Jim of West Union, Jonathan Adams Frankenberger of Baltimore, MD, Michael William Frankenberger of West Union, Kara Lynn Findley and her husband Justin of Bridgeport, William Edward Frankenberger II of Clarksburg WV; two stepchildren, Mark Shipley and his wife Wendy Shipley of Morgantown, Sharon Shipley-Marsh of Reading, PA; grandchildren, Samara, Emma, Miles, Mason, Journey, Layla, Titus, James, Riley, London, Gregory, Sierra, and Tyler; and sister, Amy Elizabeth Stang of Denver, CO.
