Leslie M. “Les” Crutchfield age 82, of Marianna, FL passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Les was born in Chipley, FL on January 7, 1940, to the late Melvin and Velma Crutchfield. He graduated from Chipley High School. He then became employed with the State of Florida as a Florida Fish and Wildlife Officer. After a 17-year career as game warden, Les retired and opened Video’s Unlimited in Bonifay, Florida. After closing the video shop, Les went back to work for the State of Florida as an investigator with the Public Defender’s Office, which he retired from.
Les was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Carolyn Virginia Crutchfield; parents and sister, Elnora Griffin.
He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Porter and Husband, Al of Marianna, FL; grandchildren, Kelsey Lynn Shuler and husband, Jonathan “Kendel” Shuler of Bristol, FL, Shelley Paige Dryden of Pensacola, FL as well as one great granddaughter, Layken Rae Shuler.
