Leslie Ann (Moulton) van Linden, 54, of Newnan, passed away suddenly on April 18, 2019. Leslie was born February 5, 1965 in Bountiful, UT, the daughter of the late William Smith and the late Margaret Kimball Atkin, and was adopted at age 3 by Jay Vincent Moulton. She had an Associates Degree in nursing. Leslie was a valued hospice nurse whose patients appreciated her direct and honest approach and sometimes entrusted her with the inheritance of their pets. Leslie enjoyed camping, boating and spending time with her family, who were the center of her life. She adored her baby grandson. Quietly and unprompted, she committed herself to the care of people and animals who needed help without expecting any reward, most notably adopting her niece with special needs Tatiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents-in-law Jan & Marijke van Linden. Left to cherish her memory are her devastated husband Hugo van Linden and children, Derek van Linden, Jan (Jordan) van Linden and Tatiana van Linden; grandson, Liam van Linden. Also her father Jay Moulton, sister Micaela (Mark) Brandelmayr, brother Robert Todd Moulton; nephews Max, Anthony, Nick Brandelmayr and Ian & Erik (Sarah Fraza) Edwards; uncle Brent Kimball; mother-in-law Joanne van Linden, sisters-in-law Marisette (Dave) Edwards and Nicolette (Jim) Montgomery; Aunt Megan McGarry Johnson; Stepmothers Julie Smith and Jeanie Smith and their children. She often said, “You don’t need to have the same blood to be family.”
