Leslie Allen Degler, 80 of Newburg, WV, passed away, Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by his side. He was born March 1, 1931 in Morgantown, WV, son of the late Anthony Joseph and Clara Mae Nelson Degler. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was owner and operator of C&C Mold and Machine Shop in Star City. He loved fishing, hunting, and golfing. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are four children, Gregory A Degler and wife Lori of Fellowsville, Lesetta A Degler of Kingwood, Erik M Degler and wife Lillian of Kingwood, Mark A Degler of Newburg; one granddaughter, Kalee Lenetta Degler. In addition to his parents, Leslie was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Degler in May 2011; four brothers, Chris, Joe, Alex and Paul Degler; two sisters, Marie Clulo and Fern Hare.
