Lesley C. Coppernoll, age 74, of Logansport, formerly of Peru, on March 31, 2009, at 9:17 p.m., with family by her side, peacefully went home to be with the Lord and family members who were awaiting her arrival.
Lesley was born in Swindon, Wiltshire, England on October 13, 1934, to Victor and Lillian Razey. Lesley was married to Montgomery Gordon in 1958, while he was serving in the United States Air Force. He then brought her home with him to the United States. In 1981, she married William Coppernoll, Sr., who preceded her in death on January 1, 2006.
Lesley had many activities she loved to do in her spare time. She loved to sew, tend to her garden, bake beautiful cakes with her daughter, go camping, and travel. She retired from Dukes Hospital in 2004 from the dietary department.
Lesley has many family members across the miles, but dear to her heart. She has a brother, Brian Razey, a sister, Penny Jones and her husband, Tony, and a sister-in-law, Thelma Razey. Many nieces and nephews and cousins, all in Swindon, Wiltshire, England.
Here close to her she has a son, Robert Gordon and his wife, Brenda, Indianapolis, a daughter, Karen LaTourrette and her husband, JC, Logansport, another son, James Coppernoll, Muncie, her grandchildren, Terry Thompson and her husband, Eric, Peru, Jennifer Gordon, Louisiana, Joey LaTourrette and her fiance, Matt MacDonald, Lebanon, Nikki LaTourrette, Logansport, and Sarah and David Gordon, Indianapolis. She also has many extended family members due to marriage. Lesley had one best friend for many years, Kay Alwine, Bunker Hill.
Lesley was greeted by her husband, mother, father, and one brother, Mick Razey, who have been waiting for her in Heaven.
She will be deeply missed by her family, till we meet again.
