Mr. LeShawn Jerome Mingo, Sr., A.K.A. “Bigg Juice,” passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022.

LeShawn Mingo, nicknames “Shawn” or “Bigg Juice,” was born to Cleo Billups and Joseph Mingo on June 9, 1976. He was a native of Tampa and was educated in the Hillsborough County Public Schools system. He graduated from C. Leon King High School in 1996.  Mr. Mingo was a member of New Salem M. B.

The most important part of his life was his family. No matter the distance or circumstances he would do what he had to do in order to be there to show support. LeShawn loved his mother, Cleo. She was everything to him, the apple of his eyes. No matter what he was going through she was always by his side and for that he was forever grateful. LeShawn loved his dad James Billups who always encouraged him from age 16 yrs. to go after his dreams and continue to take care of himself, his children and his mother. LeShawn did everything in him to make sure his children didn’t go without anything. He loved his only grandchild; she was so special to him and he was elated to celebrate her first birthday with her.  He knew his young, grown children had their full lives ahead of them and always wanted them to embrace it, for he believed they can be whatever they strive to be.

LeShawn leaves to cherish his memory, his fiancée, Tanyana Alford; mother, Cleo Billups (James); father, Joseph Mingo, Sr. (Lillie); daughters, Miracle Mingo and LaShawn Mingo; sons, LeShawn Mingo, Jr., and Breyon Belnavis; granddaughter, London Coley; sisters, Latanga Mingo, Teresa Williams (Anthony), and Pamela Mingo; brothers, Joe Mingo, Jr.
