Lashan Leree Hunt, 58 of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully on April 7, 2021. She was born in Denver, Colorado to her parents Lois Jackson and Leonard Barlow on April 10, 1962, she was one of two children born to this union.
Lashan was educated in the Denver Public Schools and graduated from East High School in 1980. She then met the love of her life Joe Hunt Jr. in 1986 and they were married for 33 years until in her passing in April. She and Joe were very family oriented, every week they enjoyed shopping, going to garage sales and spending quality time with their 5 children. As their children were growing up, Lashan stayed at home for 22 years to raise them. After their children finished school, Lashan furthered her education, attending Concord Community College.
Lashan enjoyed cross word puzzles, solitaire, and home projects. She was notorious for trying to fix things and surprise her family when they arrived home. She was very fashionable and had an amazing collection of purses, dresses and shoes. Lashan was a woman of faith. She devoted time and instilled the importance of spirituality to her family. She will truly be missed.
She is survived by her husband Joe Hunt; children Brandon (Stacey) Barlow, Tieler Hunt, R’mond Hunt, Shadae Hunt and Joe Hunt III; grandchildren: Brandon, Danye, Dayviz, Phalyn and Braylen; and her brother Kenny Barlow.
