Leroy William “Bill” Hamm, Jr., 74, of O’Fallon, IL, born April 30, 1943 in Belleville, IL, passed away on November 20, 2017 in St. Louis, MO. Leroy served in the United States Air Force. He was a former driver for Wieman Ice & Fuel and Midwest Petroleum. He retired as Captain after serving 28 years on the O’Fallon Fire Department. He loved anything and everything to do with cars. In his pastime you could find him collecting antique cars and model cars, going to car shows and spending time with his Tuesday antique car enthusiasts.

He loved the time spent making memories with his grandchildren. When his grandchildren weren’t around, you could always find him spoiling his favorite dog, Harley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Erma Hamm Sr., nee Isaac. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Hamm, nee Maggine, of O’Fallon, IL; two children, David (Sheri) Hamm of St. Louis, MO, Jodi Manley of Trenton, IL; one sister, Jean (Ronald) May of O’Fallon, IL; two nephews, Richard (Jean) Greiner of Belleville, IL, Ronald (Lisa) Greiner of Edwardsville, IL; two grandchildren, Payten Manley and Baylee Manley.
