LeRoy Halligan, 80 of Gilmore City died Monday January 18, 2016 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge. LeRoy Halligan, the son of Victor and Annis (Topliff) Halligan was born January 8, 1936, in Gilmore City, IA where he was raised and received his education, graduating from the Gilmore City High School in 1954. On June 20, 1955 he was united in marriage with Bonnie Stoulil at St. John’s Catholic Church in Gilmore City. The couple lived and farmed in the Gilmore City area their entire lives. Survivors include his wife Bonnie, daughters Lynn (Dick) Seiler, Jean (Gary) Lynch, Nancy(Kevin) Halligan, Lee (P.J.) Devereaux and a son Steven (Jane) Halligan, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and sisters Sheila (Jim) LaVelle and Vickie Kaufman.
