LeRoy Melton Jr., age 77, of Navarre, FL died on Sunday, July 5, 2015 after a fairly short battle with cancer. Roy was born on May 8, 1938 in Miami, FL. He was a graduate of Lakeland High School, Class of ’57 and served proudly in the United States Air Force. While in Vietnam, he earned the distinguished Bronze Star and Airmen’s medal. A decorated veteran, he received numerous other awards and citations.
