LeRoy is survived by his son, Dwight L. Orr in Huntington Beach, California; and 2 daughters, Linda Orr Dupriest and Karla Baxter, both of Beaufort, South Carolina.
LeRoy worked for the Maytag Company for 30 years, retiring in 1986 as an inspector in the factory.
LeRoy lived in Mingo and Newton, Iowa prior to moving to Port Royal, South Carolina in 1986.
LeRoy was a member of the UAW Local 997 Retirees Union. He also was an avid and accomplished bowler and was a major league baseball fan.
