Leriene Lucille Aarland, 87, of Caldwell, was born November 9, 1928 to Rex and Agnes (Sally) Clayton in Sargent, Nebraska. Leriene passed away on July 14, 2016 in Caldwell, Idaho of natural causes. She is survived by her brother Bob Clayton of Nampa, Idaho; daughter, Deb Hardy of Atlanta, Idaho; granddaughter, Anna Bree Florenzen of Kuna, Idaho; and great-granddaughters, Sadie and Mateo.
On June 3, 1948 Leriene married Lars Aarland of Wilder. They made their home in Caldwell, where they raised their family. Leriene was a good homemaker; she also worked as a bookkeeper for several local businesses.
Leriene was active in the community as a Jay-Cette, Lady Elk and member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1972.
She was a great wife, loving mother and friend. She will be missed.
