Leota E. Olsen, 80, of Ottawa died Wednesday, August 19 at LaSalle County Nursing Home. Mrs. Olsen was born March 15, 1929, in Ottawa to Frank and Lillian (Kelly) Studebaker.
She married Robert Olsen Sr. on August 12, 1978, in Marseilles. She worked at Nabisco for 20 years and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Ottawa, Catholic Daughters of America, and the Women of the Moose.
She is survived by four children, Jan Ramza of Bettendorf, Iowa, Marilyn (Dan) Ostby and Nancy (Charlie) Biffany of Ottawa, Diane Telfer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two step-children, Penny (Bill) Willingham of Conyers, Georgia, and Robert Olsen Jr. of Ottawa, nine grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on December 24, 1995, her parents, one son, Michael, a great-granddaughter Trista Lee Margherio, and two brothers, Frank and Lyle Studebaker.
