Leone Mesidor went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 1st 2021 at the age of 82.
Leone was born to Marion Valere and Anaira Louis on May 15, 1938 in Limbe Haiti.
Leone was blessed with a household full of family that she raised and cared for. Throughout her village in Haiti, she was known for her generosity and nurturing heart.
She was married to her best friend and true love Jean Marie Mesidor for over 64 years and they were inseparable, never leaving each other’s side.
Leone was a caregiver at heart. She was always tending to her family’s needs and making sure everyone was well taken care of. She was kind, softly spoken, and always offered a smile to everyone she encountered.
She had a great desire for the Lord and loved serving him. She especially loved attending church, prayer service, singing in the choir, and attending women’s ministry.
Leone is survived by her husband, Jean Marie Mesidor; her siblings, Rose Marie Louis and her children and grandchildren, Jacques and his children, her sister Julita, her brother Pierre Marius Valere and his children and grandchildren, and her sister Laurette Valere. She is also survived by her children, James Mesidor, Ilouse Charles and her spouse Regny Charles, and Kettely Mesidor and her spouse Jean Marcelin Dubois; her grandchildren, Fejames, Guidry, Cynouse, Glenah and Roldy, Regina and Rony, Marceline, and Marline; and her great grandchildren, Marcello, Taylor, Colin, and Rileigh
