Leondre’ Alan Adams began his journey to the spirit world on January 1, 2014 at the age of 22.  He began his life in Bemidji, Minnesota on August 17th, 1991.  He is survived by his mother Sharon Adams (Pat Londo), father Leo Osmundson, older sisters Vanessa “Sis” Adams and Teresa “Sister” Adams, three very special nieces TaMia, Teryn, and Sadie, grandmother Ellen Adams, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his close friends JBow, Eric I., Luiz D., Jonah H., Frank W., Xavier W., Codie B., Conrad S., Jordan T., Will R., and Shane W.; apologies for those we have missed.

Leondre’ grew up in Cass Lake and Bemidji area most of his life. He attended Cass Lake-Bena elementary and middle school.  He later moved to Tower with his Aunts, Tammy and Natalie Goodsky for a short time and attended Tower High School. He returned to Bemidji where he joined the Youthbuild program in 2010 and completed his education at Voyeguer Expeditionary High School, and earned his diploma in 2011.  His steady determination was a positive force in this accomplishment.

Leondre’ was a laidback, friendly, and adventurous person that had a great sense of humor that he loved to share, especially on his Facebook page at all hours of the night and morning. He loved listening to “his type of     music.” He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and    cousins that he was very close to and could make friends easily wherever he went. Leondre’ enjoyed going to   pow-wows to be with his friends and relatives.

He especially loved watching his nieces dance, hearing his cousins sing, and eating pow-wow food. His favorite meal was Nett Lake Wild Rice and Deer Meat.  Whenever he had the chance to travel, he would be the first person in the car saying, “Let’s go!”   He was the only male in the household and he  appreciated the opportunity he had in helping raise his three nieces. His family will forever miss him deeply.
