Leonard P. Vigil, 64, passed away on Oct. 14, 2022. He was born Aug. 18, 1958 to proud parents Dionicio and Marvine (Torres) Vigil who both precede him in death along with siblings Judy, Alan and Rick Vigil. Leonard graduated from Central High School in 1977 and shortly after joined the Army. Leonard worked as a handyman and flagger, he had a great sense of humor, loved to cook, would argue until he won and was a true community advocate for Pueblo. He was a people person always willing to help others and speaking with anyone he met, you were only a stranger to him once. His family always referred to him as “Johnny Cash”. Leonard is survived by his siblings Diane (Johnny) Minjarez, Dionicio (Jennie) Vigil, Pat (Joann) Vigil, Steve (Carrie) Vigil and Gary (Rosa) Vigil; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends from all walks of life.
