Leonard (Len) Burch, 80, of Johnston passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021. Leonard was born in Cabool, Missouri, on December 3, 1940, to Clarence and Virginia Burch. He graduated from Madrid High School in 1958.
Leonard married Virginia Biondi from Granger, Iowa, on February 7, 1959. He started work shortly thereafter at John Deere and retired after 32 years. Leonard and Virginia had three daughters, Tamara Burch, Barbara (Steve) Buman, and Teresa (Kent) Corbin. Leonard enjoyed spending time with his beautiful wife, children and grandchildren, music, construction, working with his hands and technology. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. Leonard and Virginia are members of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Leonard is survived in death and lovingly remembered by his wife, Virginia; brother, Allan (Carmen) Burch; his children, Barbara (Steve) Buman, Teresa (Kent) Corbin; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; he is also survived by his cherished K9 companion, Lexi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Virginia Burch and his daughter, Tamara.
