Len was passionate about Catholicism.

He was a graduate of Holy Redeemer High School in Flint, MI in 1957, and received his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Michigan State University.  He pursued a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University in New York. Len was passionate about his faith, family,  and  education.

Len loved to explore the outdoors and often went hiking or camping with his family in his leisure time. During retirement he enjoyed yardwork, reading, puzzles, and had a genuine love for music.

Len had an illustrious career that started at Ocean & Atmospheric Sciences, Dobbs Ferry, NY,  then RCA in Moorestown, NJ, endured through several sales and mergers, never leaving his desk and ultimately retired from Lockheed Martin in 2006.  He was very influential on prestigious defense projects, such as the AEGIS Combat Systems, which are still used today.  He shared his passion for education by instructing Navy Officers at M.I.T. in the summers of the late 80’s.

The family would like to express our thanks for the loving support and care provided by Sangre de Cristo Hospice of Canon City and Joni Fair Hospice House of Pueblo, CO.
