Leonard John Bowden, age 83, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Huntsville, AL after a brief illness. Leonard was born in Johnstown, PA to John and Mildred Bowden on June 29, 1938. He served in the U. S. Air Force for 4 years, after which he earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Tennessee Temple College and Seminary in Chattanooga, TN. He was a longtime resident of Huntsville and member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Dorothy and loving son, Kevin. Also niece Jackie Reynolds, nephews William John Smith, Dennis Coulter, James Coulter all of Johnstown, PA and Jeffrey Coulter of Mineral, VA.
