Leonard Harrow, 84, went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2013 in Canon City, CO. The son of E.P. and Virta Mae (Gulick) Harrow, Leonard was born November 2, 1928 in Rescue, Missouri. On June 6, 1948, Leonard was united in marriage to Jean Henderson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1952 – 1954. Leonard was a barber in Canon City for over 50 years. He considered his many loyal customers as his friends, and never knew a stranger. He also was an instructor at Golden Key Vocational School. Leonard loved golf, fishing, hunting, and his family. He loved to paint and play guitar and mandolin with his family and friends. Mr. Harrow is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Terry (Donna), Carole (Tim) Gangel; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Dean (Maureen) Harrow, Laurel (Alton) Rapier, Linda (Ron) Dussarts, Patty Babb, NellRose Pearcy, and Kay (Bob) Fanning; and son-in-law, L.D. Hay. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Hay; brothers, Caroll, Lloyd, Ray, Weldon, and Kenneth; and Sister Pansy Bowman.
