Leonard Eugene Rickey, 76 of Huntsville, MO passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born July 31, 1943 in Newark, OH to Gene and Dorothy (Novak) Rickey.
He was a self-employed contractor his whole life, and was known as a hard worker and loved his career. No I
Survivors include his wife Martha (Peart) Rickey whom he married October 29, 1965 in Salisbury, MO and she survives of the home. Also surviving are his son Randy and his wife Marilyn, two grandchildren, Raquel and Alexis, all of Huntsville, a brother Marvin Rickey and his wife Faye of Livingston, IL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry “Pee Wee” Rickey.
He loved listening to old country music, watching westerns, and spending time with friends and family. Leonard was a passionate pitch player and an avid mower. Leonard passed away doing what he loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
