Leonard Albert Copp, Jr., 72, of Higganum, beloved husband of Eileen (Murray) Copp for thirty-five years, passed away on Tuesday, June 9th at Saint Francis Hospital. Born in Winterport, ME, he was the son of the late Leonard and Alice (Twining) Copp. Leonard lived in Higganum for forty-seven years and worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Manufacturing for thirty-one years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Leonard loved to help out with projects, enjoyed gardening, cooking, trips to New York and Maine or just taking drives anywhere. Along with his wife, Leonard is survived by a son, Leonard J. Copp and his wife, Deborah of San Bernardino, CA; two daughters, Michelle Glidden and her husband, Michael of Southington and Tina Fredericksen and her husband, Ernie of South Glastonbury and nine grandchildren, Kyllyn, Spencer, Alexandria, Seth, Sean, Chloe, Rachel, Jake and Alyssa.
