Leona “Cookie” Elizabeth Cloud, age 86, of the Loon Clan and Old Agency, journeyed to the spirit world on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN. She was born January 9, 1936, in Cass Lake, MN the youngest daughter of Nora (Rock) and John Morgan, Sr.
Cookie loved spending time with her family, her family was her everything. She was a mother and grandmother to many more than just her own, with her giant, caring, and kind heart. She would do anything for her grandchildren. Cookie enjoyed going to the casino, pow wows, gardening, watching “her” animals in the yard, doing puzzles, coloring books, journaling, elder events, community events, birthday parties, and cookouts. Cookie had the gift of gab; she always told her stories with her hands. She was known for making the best chicken and rice meals for everyone. A strong faithful woman who would always say, “always say your prayers” as a way of helping to instill faith and kindness in all she knew.
