Leon Soberal Rosa, 92, of 135 Sylvan Avenue, New Haven passed away January 9, 2014 in the St. Raphael’s Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital . He was the beloved husband of Virginia Rodriquez Rosa. Born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico on March 19, 1921, he was the son of the late Leon Soveral and Maria Rosa. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a courier for Swiss Bank. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Lyvia Amador of East Haven; two grandchildren, Leon Amador and Cindy Amador; as well as four great grandchildren, Sandy Nunley, Gilberto & Leon Guerrero and Vincent Amador.
