Leon Rollins, 85 went to be with the Lord on June 21 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis.
Born the six child of James Arlie and Viola (Anderson) Rollins in Arkansas on November 1, 1933. He is survived by his wife Joyce (Fox), son, Kevin (Liz) Rollins, Florida; daughters: Kim (Tony) Irwin, Alexandria, Cindy Rollins, Evansville; second sons, Randy (Sherri) Stephens, Indianapolis, Danny (Susan) Stephens, Fairmount; grandchildren: Jessica (Derrick) Keller, Kristopher (Emily) Rollins, Sye (Kristen) Clements Amber Clements, Veronica (TJ) Sisneroz, Krissy (Shawn) Smalling, Jonathan Stephens, Cory Stephens and Cortney (Clayton) Stephens; great-grandchildren: Austin, Brandon, Carleigh, Amelia, Owen, Jackson, Noah, last but not least little Ruby Rollins.
He is also survived by four siblings, Janice Cockerham, Arkansas, Shirley Rollins, Arkansas, Maudie (Joe) Stillman, Arkansas and C. Lee (Janet) Rollins of Arkansas. He loved his nieces and nephews who are many. We cant leave out his love for his pups, Buddy and Brodie.
Leon was preceded in death by sister, Murial Bates and brothers: Hoover, Troy, Harvey, Paul, and JA Rollins. Leon served in the US Army and was proud to have served his country. He looked forward to Saturday calls from Kevin along with early morning breakfast and spending time with him when he came up from Florida. He enjoyed making memories withwith his daughter Kim on Saturday mornings,going out to eat andtheir special shopping sprees. Leon was a covenant partner with Family Worship Center in Kokomo. He loved the Lord Jesus and would want that for all his family and friends.
