Leon M. Milkowski, 67, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in Patterson, GA, with his son Johnny Milkowski by his side. He was born October 27, 1954 in Hartford, CT; the son of the late Michael and Helen (Depka) Milkowski. Leon retired from Command Corporation after 17 years, and decided to pursue working outdoors and worked with Litchfield County Landscaping and Mancini Landscaping until he retired. Leon is survived by his long- time partner Carol Schibi , of Torrington, his son Johnny, wife Deborah and grandson Michael of Georgia; his twin brother Henry and wife Linda of Harwinton, brother Joseph Milkowski of Simsbury, and brother in laws, Richard Rizzo of Wethersfield, Fred Patenaude of Becket, Ma and 9 nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Michael and Helen Milkowski, his sisters Sophie Rizzo, Michaelene Patenaude, sister in law Marietta Milkowski, nephew Anthony Falzone and niece Terry Rizzo. A grave site service is scheduled for Friday, April 29th at 1:00 at the Holy Cross Parish (Polish National Catholic Church), 723 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT 06082.
