Elbert Leon Frasier, age 90 of Newnan, born July 22, 1925, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 from Cancer. He is survived by his Wife, Frieda Frasier; sister, Ann Burcher; children, Cheryl Ledford (Ben) and Dennis Frasier; grandchildren, Paige Blankenship (Mike), Chris Wood, Matt Frasier, Michael Frasier; great-grandchildren – Austin Frasier, Tyler Frasier, Zack Wood and Jonah Wood, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Jonesboro, Ga to Homer and Dovie Frasier, Leon worked on the family farm until he graduated from high school. He was a WWII veteran with the U.S. Army and later served as Director of Computer Operations with Norfolk Southern Railroad until his retirement in 1985.
Mr. Frasier served God, his family and his community with passion and vigor and he tirelessly sought to Teach, Serve and Mentor everyone he came in contact with. He was a longstanding Sunday school teacher and he touched the Hearts of thousands over his lifetime.
