He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dovie Carroll; brothers, Charles Carroll, Marvin Carroll, Edward Carroll; and a sister, Alice McCalley. He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Goodson of Dalton, Louise Mullins of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.
