Leola is survived by her sister, Eloise (Dan) Schmittzehe of Monroe; nieces Karen Broussard of New Iberia, Mary Schmittzehe of Monroe, Patsy Meche of Monroe and her nephew Alex Broussard of New Iberia.
She is preceded in death by her parents Dedier Joseph and Leona Boudreaux Dartez; brother Kirby John Dartez, and sister Margaret Ann Dartez.
