Mrs. Leola Smith Burnham, 87, of Newnan passed away Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2014. She was born October 31, 1927 in Randolph County, AL to the late Luther Smith & Lizzie Arrington Smith. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in 2006 by her husband, Barney Edward Burnham. Mrs. Burnham worked in the lunchroom of many schools in Coweta County during her 34 years with the school system. She was a member of Sargent Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Thomas (Patty) Burnham, Charles (Joan) Burnham, Michael (Patricia) Burnham; brothers, Posey Smith, Talmadge Smith; sister, Videra Phillips; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
