Leo Joseph Vigue entered eternal rest on November 23, 2011.  Born November 27, 1933, Leo was raised in Waterville, Maine.  He moved to Connecticut following his discharge from the United States Army in 1954.  After brief stints at the Winchester Arms Factory and Bigelow Boiler Works in New Haven, Leo landed the job which would earn him local fame, as a bartender at Rudy’s Bar & Grille, where he worked for nearly fifty years.  Leo was an avid sports fan whose favorite teams included the New York Rangers, New England Patriots and his beloved Red Sox.  He was also immensely fond of animals, especially his dogs, Cleo, Midnight, and Marty.  Leo is predeceased by his parents, Adolphe and Antoinette Veilleux, his brother, Richard Veilleux, and his sisters, Fern and Yvette Veilleux.  He is survived by his brother, Norman (Pauline) Vigue, of Winslow, Maine, his sister Juliette Dubay, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, Sister-in-Law, Mary Veilleux, of Winslow, Maine, and nieces, Rosemarie (Walter) Rodgers,  Bonnie (Chad) Audet and Jolene (Greg) Gagnon, nephews Ronald (Donna) Prebel, Norman (Renee) Vigue, Jr. and Todd Veilleux, as well as his grand-nieces and nephews, and many, many “buddies” from New Haven and beyond.  He will be missed.
