Leo Edmund Clark, age 94, passed away peacefully at home in Phoenix, Arizona on Monday, January 25, 2021. Leo’s extraordinary life began on August 5, 1926 in Bosco, Wisconsin when he was born to Elsie and Ed Clark.
Leo grew up on a farm outside of Oregon, Wisconsin and met the love of his life, Leila Schou, in 1944. Leo joined the Navy in 1945 and soon upon being discharged he proposed to Leila. They married in 1948 and soon began their family with their first daughter, Pamela. Leo and Leila moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1952 where their family became complete with the births of Linda and Karen.
Leo retired as the controller for Reliance Electric Company in 1996. Outside of his work, Leo was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved outdoor sports and leisure activities such as hunting, fishing and camping. Leo enjoyed devoting his time to his family and friends and loved spending his summers in Flagstaff golfing and socializing.
Leo is survived by his wife of 72 years, Leila; his daughters Pamela Clark (Loren), Linda Stanciu (Tom) and Karen McCasland (Mike). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kimberly Berry (Justin) and Michael McCasland (Samantha) and two great grandchildren, Grayson and Mila McCasland. He was preceded in death by his sister, Audrey Van Blaricom.
