Obituary of Leo Chester Cummings
Passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 at Ascension of St. Mary’s Hospital with his family by his side at the age of 63. Leo was born April 12, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Fredrick and Gladys (Wirner) Cummings Sr. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. Leo was united in marriage to the former Cathryn Miller on October 14, 1978 in Saginaw, MI.
Leo is survived by his wife, Cathie; son, Nathan Cummings; two brothers, David (Betty) Kiefer and Fred (Liz) Cummings Jr.; three brother and sister in-laws, Charles (Melissa) Miller, David Miller and Harold (Linda) Miller; best friends, Sam (Dorothy) Gomez, Jerry Pringle and Terry Blakley and several nieces nephews and cousins. Leo was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Michael Cummings.
