Leo A. Morin, Jr. age 85, of Carver, formerly of Plymouth, passed away on Sunday, April 3rd, at his home in Carver. He was the devoted husband of the late Miriam E. (Brown) Morin. Loving father of Lisa A. Morin of Carver, Linda M. Morin of Plymouth, David A. Morin and his former wife Tamara M. of NY, and the late Douglas A. Morin. Grandfather of Jenifer Graham and her wife Marissa Taylor of NY, and David A. L. Morin, Jr. of NY. Leo is also survived by his step brother Perter Morin of FL, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Born in Plymouth on March 6, 1937, son of the late Joseph L. and Cora A. (Vickery) Morin. Leo was a graduate of the Plymouth School System, class of 1955. He served his country in the United States Navy in the air anti-submarine squadron thirty. Later going to make his career as an electrician for the Quincy Shipyard, and Brockton Hospital, before his retirement in 1986. Leo was very involved with the Masons for many years. He loved to garden, and preserve the vegetables he grew. When his kids were younger, he would take the family camping at Curlew Pond, and could often be found fishing with his son David down at Town Brook. Leo was also well known for playing Uncle Sam in Plymouth’s Fourth of July parade for many years. He was a true family man.
