Lenzie Franklin Snyder, 73, of Kingwood died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Heartland of Preston County with family by his side.
He was born January 5, 1942, in Cranesville, a son of the late Murl and Leola Savage Snyder.
Lenzie was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He enjoyed watching Nascar races, fishing and spending time with his family. He worked as a driller for Dixon Drilling.
He is survived by four daughters, Pam Wotring and husband, Randy of Kingwood, Kim Atkins of Waynesburg, OH, Carolyn Ramsell and husband, Mark of Canton, OH and Cheryl Bowlen and husband, Gary of Plantersville, TX; two brothers, Donald Snyder and wife, Terry of Dunbar, PA and Kenneth Snyder and wife, Nancy of West Leisenring, PA; seven sisters, Ida Fizer and husband, Ralph of Hillsboro, OH, Janet Starcher of Canton, OH, Beulah Hughes of Bassett, VA, Virginia Dixon and husband, Charles of Kingwood, Margaret Moore of Tunnelton, Debra Miller and husband, William and Helen Fowler and husband, George, all of Morgantown; seven grandchildren, Adam and Aaron Atkins, Colton, Jacob and Allison Wilson, Ashley and Skyler Bowlen and six great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Connie Joiner Snyder, three sisters, Thelma Lambert, Mary Auvil and Betty Dixon and a brother, Francis Snyder.
