Lenward Earl “Len” McCombs, Sr., of Wilsonville and formerly of Huffman, AL passed away November 20, 2021. Len was born January 7, 1932, in East Lake, AL. He was a graduate of Woodlawn High School, a US Army veteran, and retired from Bell South after 40 years of service. Len was a former member of Huffman Baptist Church and current member of Wilsonville Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and taught Sunday School. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Dot Savage McCombs; his parents, Mattie Lee Powell and Lonnie McCombs, and stepfather, Roy Dellinger. He is survived by his sons, Len McCombs, Jr. (Theresa), John McCombs (Lisa), and Dan McCombs; grandchildren, Ilene Fielder, Leigh, Mary, Kayleigh, and Lacie McCombs and two great grandchildren.
