Lenora Elizabeth Wooden LeMond, 84, Anderson, passed away December 9, 2008 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a sudden illness.
She was born August 8, 1924 in Upton, Kentucky, and resided in Anderson most of her life. Lenora retired in 1989 from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 43 years of service.
She was a member of the Alexandria Eagles, UAW Local #662 and the Republican National Committee. She is survived by her seven children, DeWitt Kathy Weaver, Charlotte Weaver Rector, Bruce Liz LeMond, Gary Audrey LeMond, Alfred Della LeMond, Jeff Carrie LeMond and Phillip LeMond; brothers, Russell Loy Wooden Winders and Walter Grace Wooden; sister, Alta Hootie Hembree; sister-in-law, Georgia Wooden; nephew, Eric Francis Boggs; grandchildren, Ryan McCartney, Chad Heather Wells, Sara Jason Morgan, Kyle Weaver, William Rector, Joseph Rector, Lindsey Whitis, Emily, Mort, and Mitchell LeMond, Ryan Stockon, Korey and Kody LeMond, Ashley, Amanda, Alissa, Autumn and Aliya LeMond; great grandchildren, Tyler, Noah, Kayla, Skyler, McKinley, Israel, Brianna, Xavier, Brayden and Samantha.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen LeMond; parents, Mitchell & Nellie Hawkins Wooden; daughter, Diana K. LeMond and siblings, Francis Faust, Pearl Watson, Ava Stoops and Paul Wooden.
